Some people like farms, others like diamonds. Here is a link to the complete list of multiple farm owners: http://tinyurl.com/yefcg8g. A national land audit would settle the matter.

"Some 336 farms are now in the hands of 68 individuals with close ties to Zanu PF", from what you are saying the 5 guys you listed above own about 10% of the total zanu pf owned farms, and 3 of these guys are not even that big in Zanu PF, the conclusion from the facts you are providing is that your source is suspect.

If Zanu PF as a party encourages multiple farm ownership dont you think Grace Mugabe, in your list would have the highest number of farms.

Please double check your sources of information.

Personally, I'm not a member of any political party.

Please don't put words into my mouth - I never mentioned the land - but since you brought it up can I ask you a question. When you say the "land is the wealth" are you referring to the 11 farms that Ignatius Chombo now owns, or the 9 that Jonathan Moyo owns, or the 3 that Grace Mugabe owns, or the 4 that Leo Mugabe owns. What about Obert Mpofu's 5 farms. That sure is a lot of wealth - and I wonder how these good people acquired these farms. Maybe, like Chinotimba, they were farming people? Some 336 farms are now in the hands of 68 individuals with close ties to Zanu PF and who are complicit in the destruction of property, beating, murder, rape and torture of innocent Zimbabweans. Whatever happened to the Zanu PF leadership Code? Trod underneath in the thundering of trotters to the party feeding trough!

"a vibrant multi-party democracy emerge in Zimbabwe" - How many parties make up your multi party democracy?

Its a good thing you recognise that the land is the wealth, then you must agree that the land is the reason why there was the liberation war and not liberation as in drinking clear beer, walking in first street and shopping in the then white shopping spots.

You seem very concerned about Zanu PF Are you a Zanu PF party member, or its just hypocrisy as usual?

Another reminder to you democracy does not mean having things "your" way. I hope you don't mean democracy as in Afganiatan and Iraq.

Nothing but heartache and headaches. We would like to see a vibrant multi-party democracy emerge in Zimbabwe and Zanu PF has a part to play. However it would have to be a reformed Zanu PF as the party and its original ideals have been hijacked by a bunch of criminals who have no interest in the welfare of Zimbabweans. They prefer to focus on enriching themselves and crushing dissent. We saw at the recent Zanu Congress how the election of the top posts was stage managed and against the wishes of party members. Zanu PF is crying out for change, fresh blood and a renewed leadership - not the same old tired and worn out faces that are at the root of the problem. Naturally the long term result of this lack of democracy within and without the party will be further decline. If Zanu PF is to survive it MUST reform.

At least you admit he does have some support.

"You have either bought into the Zanu propaganda or been bought – which is clear from the numerous rude and offensive comments you have made, slavishly following the Zanu PF party line and which we have not published."

Same applies to you what did they give you?

How are things going at the Zimbabwe Open University Prince? Yes the commander in chief DOES have to control his army. But with 10% support, which is a conservative estimate, and having been defeated at the last election, Mugabe should not be the commander in chief, nor the president. As Mugabe himself said - once the people no longer support you its time to go. For the sake of the 90% of the people who DO NOT support Mugabe it is indeed time for him to go. In addition the army needs to be a professional force that is deployed to protect and defend the citizens of Zimbabwe. Not a weapon of repression used by Zanu PF to prolong their rule. Nor should the generals be allowed to plunder the wealth of the country, the diamond fields of Marange is just one example. The natural wealth of Zimbabwe should be used to benefit ALL Zimbabweans. You have either bought into the Zanu propaganda or been bought - which is clear from the numerous rude and offensive comments you have made, slavishly following the Zanu PF party line and which we have not published.
